Getting Started with SPINE
Welcome to SPINE! This guide will help you begin using the platform.
Roles and Responsibilities
For IT Administrators
- Create accounts for regular users.
- Assign roles to users based on their responsibilities (e.g., Scientist, Rater).
For Scientists
- Create cohorts and populate them with images and clinical data.
- Manage projects to organize all data related to a study.
For Project Managers
- Assign cases (images and clinical data) to raters for annotation.
For Raters
- Annotate images and complete tasks assigned to you by project managers.

Navigating SPINE
1. Logging In
- Open your web browser and navigate to the SPINE server address.
- Enter your username and password to log in.
2. Accessing Features
- Depending on your role, you will see different sections of the platform:
- Administrators: User management, configuration settings.
- Scientists: Cohort and project management.
- Raters: Assigned tasks and annotation tools.
